Inside Sales Engineer

Trafag Incorporated is seeking a motivated and energetic individual for the position of inside sales engineer. Technical sales strategy techniques and groomed organizational patterns are necessary. The role calls for technical aptitude in relation to mechanical and electrical processes and instrumentation. Prior education and experience with sensors and motor controls within low voltage will be helpful. The individual is required to problem solve via laws of physics in regard to temperature, pressure and media to material compatibility. Regularly interpreting instrumentation drawings and schematics with confidence is required. This is a sales position and the candidate must exuberate a naturally friendly and interested demeanor. Interpersonal skills and a high comfort level in the area of discussion both over the phone and in person is necessary. Warm and cold calling to new and prospective clientele is a primary job responsibility. Maintaining a close relationship to clientele is necessary for continued sales growth. Daily responsibilities include the response to customer inquiries i.e., new sales requests, warranty claims and technical support. Interpersonal and computer skills are required for the support of Trafag Inc's., manufacturer representatives and distributor networks. Weekly involvement includes working within a team environment in order to seek new target OEM's, accomplish successful introductions and land new sales. Internal marketing strategy input will be required. Aptitude involved with the interpretation of customer expectations regarding technical, budgetary and logistical aspects are key. Occasional travel to clients and trade shows is required.
